The land has been improved, dried to remove salt, and harmful agents eliminated, while the canal system has been dredged clean to ensure the necessary amount of water for both rice and shrimp. This not only helps rice grow strongly but also ensures an ideal living environment for shrimp after the rice is harvested.<\/h5>\n

The rice-shrimp model creates a reasonable rotation between the rice season and the shrimp season.
